After many days of waiting, the final of Miss Supranational 2022 took place in Poland. Representative of Vietnam, Kim Duyen excellently won the 2nd runner-up position of the contest.
The Miss Supranational Contest is one of six beauty pageants of great stature and interest in the world. In 2022, nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen is the representative of Vietnam in this beauty arena. During the journey at the contest, Kim Duyen made a good impression on the audience and the world’s media.
On the eve of the final, she was predicted by many beauty experts to achieve high rankings at this year’s contest. She also won the Supra Model Asia sub-award and participated in most of the top sub-categories of the competition.
On the morning of July 16 (Vietnam time), Kim Duyen and 69 beautiful people from different countries and territories competed in the final of Miss Supranational 2022. The contestants participated in the show of evening dresses, swimsuits, behavior to find the best faces. The judges in turn announced the top 24, top 12, top 5, based on the results in the semifinals and the performance of the beauties at the final.
In the end, South African representative Lalela Mswane won the Miss Supranational 2022 crown. The new miss is a familiar face, having won the title of 2nd runner-up at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant held in Israel last December. She is also Kim Duyen’s former rival at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant.

Before the final, Lalela Mswane was in the top predictions of beauty experts. The beauty was born in 1997 as a bachelor of law from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

3rd runner-up – Adinda Cresheilla – Miss Indonesia
4th runner-up – Ismelys Velásquez – Miss Venezuela
The 1st runner-up of the contest belongs to Thai beauty, Praewwanich Ruangthong is also a highly anticipated and highly regarded opponent from Asia.
The 2nd runner-up award went to Kim Duyen of Vietnam. Kim Duyen’s performance at this year’s contest is highly appreciated by domestic and international audiences.
She in turn confidently appeared in the top 24, top 12, top 5 and finally won the 2nd runner-up. Kim Duyen’s achievements at Miss Supranational 2022 are considered a good achievement of Vietnamese representatives in the international beauty arena in recent years.
In the conduct test, Kim Duyen confidently answered in English. She gets questions about the positive and negative aspects of her life. She said: “I think everything has two positives and a negative side to it and so does trying to be perfect. If we think about things in a positive way, things will be positive. Like myself, I try to train myself every day to be the best version of myself and that’s the perfect reach in a positive way.”
Earlier, in the presentation of the top 12, Kim Duyen expressed: “If I become the winner tonight, I will not only use my influence at home but also to the whole world. I will help vietnamese children as well as children around the world to pursue their dreams.”
A few hours before the finale, the organizers of miss supranational 2022 announced the moment the contestants showed off their national costumes. In this competition, Kim Duyen wore a 30kg costume called “Sea Epic”. The Vietnamese beauty confidently shines on the stage in an outfit inspired by the story of the ancestors of the ancient Vietnamese who fought together, lived, built and protected the territory of Vietnam.
In addition to the 2nd runner-up title of the contest, Kim Duyen of Vietnam was also one of the two contestants who won the Supra Chat (Miss Rhetoric) award at Miss Supranational 2022.
