At the conference, the Ministry of Education and Training also proposed to waive all tuition fees for secondary school students nationwide from the 2022-2023 school year; is implementing the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on textbook prices.
In this regard, the Prime Minister assigned agencies to coordinate and study and carefully assess the impact. The Ministry of Finance calculates issues related to the budget, in the general spirit that has been directed by the Government and the Prime Minister, it is necessary to review and have a roadmap to adjust tuition fees accordingly, without causing more difficulties for people and students.
Here, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung requested the Ministry of Education and Training to review and adjust accordingly the new general education program; to inspect, inspect and finalize regulations on the compilation, distribution, purchase and use of textbooks.
At the same time, urgently implement the preparation of the new school year, high school graduation exams and university and college admissions in 2022 to ensure safety, seriousness and quality.
