More than 400 local and foreign artists and soldiers will perform at the ASEAN+ Police Music Festival 2022, which will take place on July 9-10, in hoan Kiem Lake area, Hanoi.
In the afternoon of July 4, the Party Work and Political Affairs Department coordinated with the Mobile Police Command to hold an official press conference on the ASEAN+ Police Music Festival 2022.
Major General, NSND Nguyen Cong7 – Deputy Director of the Party Work and Political Affairs Department and Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command – chaired the press conference.
Speaking at the press conference, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh said that the ASEAN+ 2022 Police Music Festival is an activity aimed at enhancing cultural and musical exchanges, improving mutual understanding of national identity, country, people, traditions of the People’s Police Force of Vietnam and the police forces of ASEAN countries.
The festival is also an opportunity to promote the image of the country of Vietnamese people, which is a spiritual cultural activity that spreads a good image, for the people serving the Vietnamese police force; introducing to international friends about the glorious tradition of 60 years of building, fighting and maturing the Vietnamese People’s Police force; affirming the correct leadership of the Party and State of Vietnam in international integration, contributing to protecting social order and safety and building a regular, elite and modern revolutionary people’s police force.
According to Major General Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, the music festival is a special music event with important political, economic, cultural and social significance with the largest scale ever organized by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam with the theme “Praise for the love of the homeland, the country and the traditions of the People’s Police Force, Vietnam CAND and ASEAN+ countries 2022.”
Participating in the festival are 8 troupes, including 6 international groups with 200 musicians and artists from China, Japan, Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, Brunei. Vietnam alone has 2 Vietnamese orchestras with 238 musicians and artists, of which the Ministry of Public Security has 127 people; The Defense Ministry’s band has 110 people.
The festival consists of 2 shows, performed on July 9 and 10 on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi. In particular, the majority of the performances are trumpet music. The parade takes place from 8:00-10:00 on July 9; Live tv on ANTV channel. Before the parade, the mobile police force marched the cavalry around the shore of the Lake. The opening of the program was a performance of drum festival performed by 300 soldiers and students of the People’s Police Academy.
It is expected that the delegations will march on the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake, with a stop at 4 locations: King Ly Thai To monument, suicide monument; the fountain at the junction of Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Ly Thai To; Hang Tray intersection, Hang Bai, Dinh Tien Hoang, Trang Tien.
The concert on July 10 took place in front of the monument area of King Ly Thai To, Live television on Vietnam Television, VTV1 and CAND Television, ANTV channel. Before the official show, from 7:30 p.m., the mobile police force continued to march around the Lake Shore; The drum arts troupe of the PPA will also perform to create a lively atmosphere before entering the main program.
Major General, People’s Committee Nguyen Cong Seven also said that at present, the organizing committee is ready for the Music Festival. The general performances between musicians and artists of other countries, the organizers have sent the general spectrum for the delegations of your country to practice before.
From July 6th to 8th, the Organizing Committee welcomed the delegations, trained and reviewed before the official performance to serve the people. The performances at the Music Festival of all delegations have been evaluated by the Organizing Committee in collaboration with relevant agencies on the content.
In order to serve the Music Festival, the Organizing Committee arranged medical checkpoints to serve the health care of the delegations, soldiers of the forces, people and visitors. In particular, the organizers will provide free drinking water to the people and visitors to cheer the Music Festival.
